Steering Group meeting and training for the ODINBLACKSEA countries were held back-to-back on 19-21 March 2009 at RIHMI-WDC, Obninsk, Russian Federation.

Main Goals:
  • To discuss the recent situation with the ODINBLACKSEA and to find the ways to improve it;
  • To create the conditions to install the ODINBLACKSEA E2EPM prototype system and to select the data to be available through the system;
  • To prepare the ODINBLACKSEA plan and budget for 2010-2011 to be presented at the IODE-XX.
Day 1, March 19 (14:30 - 17:30)
  1. Welcome from local organizers.
  2. Approval of the meeting agenda.
  3. History of the ODINBLACKSEA creation and work plan approved for 2008-2009.
  4. Changes in the work plan according to the recent conditions.
  5. State and Capacity of the ODIN BLACK SEA NODCs / DNAs.
Day 2, March 20 (9:00 - 13:00)
  1. Creation of the ODINBLACKSEA E2EPM prototype system.
  2. Selection of parameters to be available through the ODINBLACKSEA E2EPM prototype system.
  3. ODINBLACKSEA action plan and budget for 2010-2011.
  4. Approval of the meeting decisions and action plan.
  5. Any other business

Training on the End to End data Management (E2EDM) prototype system for the ODINBLACKSEA countries
Provisional Agenda

Main Goals:
  • To renew and update knowledge got during the first E2EDM training (Oostende, 2007);
  • To analyze the problems met during the E2EDM node set up;
  • To prepare a timetable and an action plan for the ODINBLACKSEA E2EPM prototype system node installation
Day 1, March 20 (14:30 - 17:00)
  1. Welcome from the local organizers.
  2. Current status of the E2EDM technology.
  3. Reminder on information provided at the first E2EDM training in Oostende in 2007.
  4. Reports on the attempts to set up the E2EDM node and the problems met.
Day 2, March 21 (9:00 - 17:00)
  1. Analysis of the problems met during the E2EDM node set up.
  2. Practical work on the ODINBLACKSEA E2EPM prototype system node installation using the participants data.
  3. Approval of the action plan ODINBLACKSEA E2EPM prototype system node installation.
  4. Workshop closure
